Job Description:

Wholesale Credit is the credit underwriting organization for Global Corporate & Investment Banking, Global Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate Banking, Bank of America Business Capital, Business Banking and parts of Global Wealth Management. The primary focus of the Data Management team is to produce simplified, high-quality Global Banking data. This team will be responsible for centralizing wholesale credit data processes, including platforms, reporting, data management and data remediation. The team will partner directly with the Global Technology & Operations team and subject matter experts across Global Banking.

Job description

Candidate will be a member of team responsible for the implementation of business solutions across Wholesale Credit. The role requires significant contributions to the design, development and completion of project deliverables. The role is responsible for completing in-depth data analysis and contribution to strategic efforts including how we manage data, with focus on improvement of how data is sourced across multiple upstream lines of business. Primary responsibilities will include analyzing complex legal loan documents for key language and using judgment to determine appropriate outcome. Candidate will be capable of developing file review guidelines and conduct training.

Required Skills:

  • The position requires analyzing complex legal documents for key language, assignments and valuations

  • Proficiency with reviewing and interpreting credit agreements, amendments and other legal documentation across multiple classifications

  • Must be able to read legal terms and conditions and understand their meaning and how it applies to work processes

  • Must have banking background with credit fulfillment and/or a similar role

  • Must have excellent communication skills

  • Must have excellent organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to manage diverse projects impacting multiple roles and processes

  • Ability to adapt to fast changing environment

  • Ability to create management level reporting using aggregated bank data

  • Ability to troubleshoot problem areas and identify data gaps and issues
