The Agile Product Manager is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating agile project teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering agile projects that provide exceptional business value to users. Typically this will be for one or more lines of business. The Product Manager will be responsible for managing several concurrent high visibility projects using agile methods in a fast-paced environment that may cross multiple business divisions. The Product Manager will lead large, complex enterprise-level projects requiring integration with other activities outside the scope of the Agile teams. They play a consultative role to help put in place the appropriate people, process, and tools and coaching members of the team as needed to optimize the efficiency of the customer enablement team. They use good judgment and skill to develop a project management approach that is suitable for planning and managing the effort to achieve the project goals within designated project constraints. The Product Manager drives the development of products that address the needs for a line of business. This includes leading efforts for identifying potential products, conducting market and/or industry research, generating product requirements, determining specifications, delivery timetables, costing, and time-integrated plans for product deployment. This position will support our California/Hawii division from our Cherry Hill, NJ Service Center.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools.
Strong knowledge of business process modeling solutions, e.g., ARIS.
Working knowledge of digital technologies and applicability for the water and wastewater industries.
Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly-credible leadership to development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues.
Experience / Education
Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering,
Information Systems or similar technology field is required [Bachelor's
degree plus equivalent work experience will be considered].
Certified Scrum Master certification required. Equivalent certification
[e.g., Project Management Institute's Agile Certified Practioner (PMIACP)]
will be considered.
A proven track record of successfully implementing software or web
development projects using Agile methodologies including 3+ years of
experience as a Project Manager managing large, complex projects in a
high-tech development environment with multi-function teams with an
additional 3+ years in a product management role producing tangible
technology solutions and driving the product vision for a line of
