Medical Information Delivery Systems Engineering Support (MIDSES) – Configuration Management, Project Lead

One of our tasks is to provide a wide range of Medical Information Delivery Support for various DoD Medical IT systems and technologies.

The Defense Health Agency’s (DHA) mission is to provide a medically ready force to Combatant Commands in both peacetime and wartime. The DHA supports the delivery of integrated, affordable, and high quality health services to the MHS (Military Health System) beneficiaries and is responsible for driving greater integration of clinical and business processes across the MHS.

Our team of IT and Health Care specialists provide a wide range of Medical Information Delivery Support for various DoD Medical IT systems and technologies.

CACI has immediate openings for Quality Assurance Test Engineers in the Chesapeake, VA area to assist in the active testing of software and web service development in an Agile environment.

The QA Test Engineer shall provide support to develop, execute, and track all testing efforts to support the end-to-end development, deployment, and maintenance of the solution and shall work to develop, enhance, and maintain the necessary testing artifacts, including test plans, test procedures and test scripts for all releases required.

Candidate should be highly motivated and willing to take ownership for team's successful design, development, and maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of six years’ experience in a software or IT systems CM role

  • Well-versed in working within Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Microsoft Test Manager (MTM)

  • Test Case and Test Script development

  • Well versed in multiple Software Development Lifecycles, and the specific CM activities needed per lifecycle

  • Especially Agile and Waterfall SDLCs

Experience performing various configuration management and testing activities including:

  • Establishing and maintaining version control over all Team Foundation Server artifacts

  • Establish and maintain organized folder structure per version

  • Apply proper versioning to releases based on size and complexity

  • Create version branches as appropriate, and able to merge branches if needed

  • Create and maintain project level Configuration Management Plan

  • Create release artifacts/documentation

  • Create/Modify requirements and test cases within TFS

  • Ability to link requirements to test cases to releases

  • Generate reports within TFS

  • Functional Testing

  • Record test results within TFS

  • Integration and Web Service Testing

  • Regression Testing

    Additional Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication and team participation skills.

  • Full life cycle software development skills, including design, development, testing, deployment and support.

Typically requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent and six to eight years of related experience.
