Job Description:

Wholesale Credit Product Owner

  • Unique and dynamic career opportunity in Wholesale Credit that will be instrumental in the redesign of our current underwriting, monitoring and fulfillment platform.

  • As one of our key SIM initiatives, the target state technology platform will expose you to executive leadership, enhance your personal brand and broaden your career experience through partnerships with fintech companies, internal technology and change management.

  • Seeking candidates that are both innovative and creative and have a strong desire to serve as an advocate for change. The role will both lead and participate in critical debates surrounding the functionality and visual design of the target state underwriting environment.

  • The role will require involvement in pre-work diligence and requirement gathering used to facilitate the design sessions.

  • Role can be filled by either a B5 or B4 candidate based on experience.

Required skills / competencies:

  • Experience in wholesale credit underwriting and monitoring regardless of credit discipline with a solid understanding of the credit process, workflow and current policy and procedure

  • Comfortable making quick decisions and have a desire to participate in transformational change and willing to take risks

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge

  • Strong communication and PowerPoint presentation skills; able to target messaging across the organization

  • Action oriented

  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity

  • Willing to take an unpopular stands and challenge the status quo

  • Makes good decisions based on a mixture of analysis and judgment

  • Brings creative ideas and facilitates effective brainstorming

  • Can maneuver complex organizational structures

  • Strong ability to influence and lead diverse groups to achieve desired results

  • Ability to work independently – set and manage plans, achieve results

  • Highly organized and able to effectively multi-task and plan/manage deliverables

  • Strong ability to establish relationships with partners and peers across teams in order to achieve optimal results
