Work Description: As a Surge Logistics Generalist, a typical day might include the following: - Assisting in the transportation of material and people.

  • Coordinates and performs routine light vehicle maintenance, as needed.

  • Process requests for vehicles and mileage reports.

  • Assists with office renovations and moves.

  • Assists in maintaining inventories of goods and materials.

Required Qualifications: - TS/SCI with Polygraph

  • Three years of relevant logistics experience in the public or private sector.

  • Oral and written communication skills sufficient to compose and deliver responses to customers’ routine questions in a clear and concise manner.

  • Ability to become familiar with Logistics procedures and policies specific to the area of assignment.

  • Some Basic knowledge of various Logistics databases and applications

  • Basic knowledge of how to read and interpret routine financial statements.

Desired Qualificatio ns: - Experience with General office equipment

  • Experience with Office moving equipment

  • Experience with Forklifts

  • Experience with Hand tools

  • Agency acquisition system

  • Experience with MS Word

  • Experience with MS Excel

  • Experience with MS Access

  • Experience with Travel and complete accounting
