IBM Watson Health - Senior Project Manager in CLEVELAND, Ohio

The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for managing client-facing projects, including timelines and deliverables, with a commitment to high client satisfaction, on-time and on-budget delivery, and account revenue growth. Essential Functions: Manages the Projects, Timelines, and DeliverablesProject and/or Program Planning and Forecasting

  • Assesses future workload relative to team’s average throughput, existing work queue, and resource capabilities

  • Assists Strategic Account Managers and Lead Solutions Consultant in developing statements of work

  • Establishes project deliverables and aligns resources for the Client Solutions and Customer Account Review Team

  • Defines project governance and manages go-live, closeout, and transition to support activities

Manage & Report

  • Tracks project and program activities to ensure effective scope, acceptable timing, maximum benefit and quality delivery

  • Tracks and manages deliverables and timelines

  • Identifies delivery risks and the opportunities to mitigate them

  • Manages project scope and sets expectations

  • Maintains up-to-date project plans

  • Reports key performance metrics including task velocity, resource allocation, hours/units estimated versus used, and overall performance to budget

  • Conducts status reports both internally and to the client

Coordinate with the Customer Account Review Team

  • Manages and tracks tasks assigned to the various Technical Teams, including Informatics and Engineering

  • Travel 25%

    Description of an Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Communications, Business Administration, or other related area; A Master’s Degree is desirable

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the Healthcare or Health IT domain

  • At least 10 years of professional Project Management experience

  • Professional training and/or certifications in Project Management

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the healthcare or Health IT domain

  • At least 10 years of professional Project Management experience
