Work you ll do

As a Senior Consultant within our Cyber Risk team, you will:

  • Work with Federal clients to mitigate cyber risk and threats

  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to completing scope of work

  • Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues

  • Conduct relevant research, data analysis, and create reports

  • Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products

  • Assist in proposal development, as requested

  • Actively expand consulting skills and professional development through training courses, mentoring, and daily interaction with clients

  • The Training Development SME is primarily responsible for the development of curriculum that meets client requirements based on a developed Master Training Task List (MTTL) and Learning Objectives (LO).

  • The Training SME will ensure that delivered training meets all requirements from the MTTL and tailor the instruction to match individual student knowledge levels and needs.

  • The Training SME will manage instructional design efforts in the team and collaborate with Cyber Engineer SMEs, clients/stakeholders, and the team to develop and deliver learning solutions. The Training SME will also research, analyze, design, develop, and customize instructional materials to potentially support WBT (Web-Based Training)/CBT (Computer-Based Training)/ILT (Instructor-Led Training), by working with different types of input material (MTTL and LOs) to create instructional content.

  • The Training SME will apply various instructional strategies, models, and theories to develop learning content to enhance learning transfer and greater on-the-job performance.

  • Experience developing technical cyber defense instructional content is a huge plus.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Security, Cybersecurity, or related field

  • 2 years of relevant consulting or industry experience

  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives

  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience

  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools

  • Ability to maintain the required Secret clearance for this role

  • Training Content and Delivery, Curriculum Design and development, Training Strategy and Planning

Preferred:

  • Previous Federal Consulting experience

  • Understanding of fundamental cloud computing concepts

  • Experience with Information Assurance concepts and processes within the Federal government

  • Knowledge of and experience with Federal security regulations, standards, and processes including FISMA, FIPS, NIST, and FedRAMP

  • Experience working with Department of Defense and/or military clients is highly desired

  • Understanding of core cyber tools to include SIEM, vulnerability assessment, infrastructure (firewall, IPS/IDS, proxy, network capture), host based security, penetration testing/external assessment tools, etc. is highly desired

  • Ability to define scope, develop work plan, and manage to that work plan for work streams within a technical project is desired

  • Knowledge of existing government/commercial cyber tools and capabilities is desired

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in System Engineering, Information Security, Cyber Operations, or equivalent.

  • DoD 8570 Cyber Security Service Provider-Analyst certifications are desired (CEH, GCIH, GCIA, etc) are desired

  • Top Secret / SCI clearance is preferred.
