POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Sales role covering the territory of -PA-DE-MD-VA -WV is responsible for the leadership of 8 direct reports covering this 5 state region. This role is responsible for the oversight/execution of the public sector strategy, client retention/renewals, cross-sales, new business development, key client, consultant, and community engagement.

FUNDAMENTAL COMPONENTS:

The Director of Sales role covering -PA-DE-MD-VA-WV is responsible for the leadership of 8 direct reports covering a 5 state region representing 700,000 medical members with revenue of $2 billion. This role is responsible for the oversight/execution of the public sector/government strategy, client retention/renewals, cross-sales, new business development, key client, consultant, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have several years experience in successful sales leadership, client retention, and operations knowledge.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 year's experience in successful sales management, client retention, and operations knowledge. Experience in group medical insurance products is preferred. License preferred for for health, life and disability.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
