This is an exciting opportunity for Project Leads – Information Technology #IN630 in Columbus, Indiana.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

  • Support the execution of project involving the development of new applications and enhancements of existing IT applications for the business units.

  • Evaluate project risks and determine project schedule and scope to ensure completion within committed cost and schedule.

  • Implement new integrated business processes based on knowledge of business systems and industry requirements.

  • Liaise with IT Shared Services teams to derive technical solutions meeting defined business requirements.

  • Utilize Six Sigma Methodologies to identify and implement improvements and baseline cost reduction opportunities in IT processes and projects.

  • Utilize knowledge of Business Intelligence technology and tools including Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) and Microsoft Business Intelligence (MSBI) stack of technologies to improve project solution management and delivery.

  • Engage with customer in the respective engine business function to develop company/department strategic IT plans and/or action plans including identification of objectives, goals, and strategies.

  • Partner with all stakeholders, including preferred vendors, to deliver the solution.

  • Work cross-functionally to validate that the delivered solution meets the business requirements.

  • Ensure that appropriate training documentation and standard operating procedures are delivered.

  • Utilize expertise to ensure team adherence to all IT processes, policies, and procedures.

  • Design and document project plans, develop timeline, identify project status, milestones, and outcomes, and track performance against performance goals and timeline.

  • Utilize knowledge of supply chain management theories and concepts in order to better manage the supply chain projects and develop relevant solutions that will be of use to the business and provide a niche approach in problem solving and BI Solutioning.

  • Maintain a cross-functional, cross-organizational project issues list, with appropriate prioritization based on the issue’s level of importance.

  • Plan and monitor project budget, conduct research and analysis, and provide input into the design and development of project plans and timelines.

  • Utilize Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for the waterfall method of software/solution development to use in ITPM projects.

Skills and Experience Required

Experience to include:

  • Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) and Microsoft Business Intelligence (MSBI) stack of technologies

  • Supply chain management

  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Determine project schedule and scope

  • Project solution management and delivery

  • Validate solutions

  • Document project plans, status, milestones, and outcomes

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • Positions require a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field and 2 years of experience as an IT Business, Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain Analyst, or related position.

Compensation and Benefits

Base hourly rate commensurate with experience plus bonus. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
