Verizon Change Management Specialist in Columbus, Ohio
What you’ll be doing...
This role is a change release analyst assigned to a large Enterprise Client, working as part of a PMO team to deliver Verizon services. Responsibilities include:
Facilitates the Change Management Process and System Integration, and initiates, facilitates and statuses the Change Control Board
Specifies process flow of change requests, validation, and approval – specific for non-standard changes, and coordinate with NOC and standard MACD process through the Portal.
Manages integration of Customer Change Management Process to Verizon Change Management Process.
Monitors the quality of the change management process and intervene to correct and improve as needed.
Prepare monthly / quarterly / annual Change Management performance reports for presentation internally within Verizon and to the Customer during Governance / Service Reviews.
Communicates changes using the agreed to Change Management processes.
Coordinates changes and address issues with Customer POC, third party partners, and Verizon management centers to ensure SLA’s are achieved based on contractual terms.
Participates in Change Control meetings and engage in approval processes.
Supports the Account Team in all problem escalations/notifications associated with scheduled network scheduled maintenance and planned outages.

What we’re looking for...
Bachelors or Associate Degree or at least 2 years of relevant work experience
Strong work ethic, exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage work load effectively and independently
Able to multi-task and prioritize, anticipate and independently address issues
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong Customer Service skills
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
Problem solving and root cause identification skills
Strong attention to detail and good follow through
Must work well within a team environment
Knowledge of IT & Telecom and experience with networking products and services [WAN, LAN, WLAN, IPT etc.]
Ideally you will also have:
Project Management (PMP) Certification
ITIL Foundation Certification preferred but must obtain within first year of employment
Experience supporting Global Enterprise Clients and Operations
