What you’ll be doing...
Continuous improvement efforts drive our business and you will work with customer technical teams to provide solutions for customers' internetworking communications requirements. You will be performing routed/switched network design activity for our large enterprise customer data networks. As the primary interface to customers in support of their WAN/LAN enterprise projects, you will make us better by creating great enterprise customer data networks. And here, better matters.
Investigating, designing, planning, and implementing communications networks.
Partnering with customer teams to develop solutions that support their requirements.
Preparing network schematics to define and illustrate network design solutions.
Creating hardware and software configuration upgrades.
Providing IP addressing and routing strategies.
Preparing detailed work orders for technicians.
The Senior Network Consulting Engineer will provide hands-on engineering services in support of large Enterprise Managed Services customers, to include the design, implementation and ongoing support across multiple platforms and technology disciplines for WAN, LAN, Wireless, Voice, Unified Communications and Security solutions.
You must have in-depth, technical knowledge and experience managing complex router/switch environments, and the demonstrated ability to act as the customer’s trusted technical advisor for current and future technology deployments.

You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Technical knowledge and experience in designing, configuring, implementing & testing, troubleshooting and supporting multi-site critical network environments that consist of multi-vendor Routers, Switches, Wireless LAN, WAN Accelerator, VoIP, Firewall & Network Security.
Even better if you have:
Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) certification or higher.
Juniper JNCIS with a higher level certification preferred (example – CCIE or JNCIE).
Experience with Cisco LAN switching, WAAS, Juniper routing and internal wireless products.
Hands-on experience designing and configuring various routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP IGRP, HSRP, RIPv1 & RIPv2.
Hands on experience with complex QoS and VLAN configurations and designs.
Experience with contemporary technologies including MPLS, TCP/IP, IPSec, BGP, QoS, IP Telephony, Multicast, and/or other similar tools.
Designed and implemented large scale customer networks.
Project management experience.
Advanced problem solving skills including conceptual and analytical thinking and capable of working on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
Ability to produce and review Network Analysis reports, and make technical recommendations.
The ability to work on multiple projects/activities concurrently, and research technical issues and develop solutions.
