Eaton Corporation Business Development Manager - Cable Glands in Coventry, United Kingdom

LOCATION: COVENTRY, AT LEAST 2 DAYS A WEEK INITIALLY

CONTEXT:

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities and driving business development activity through high technical and commercial support of customers and distributors in EMEA, either directly or through sales channels. We are looking for an experienced cable glands sales professional who will use their skills to contribute to achieve our ambitious goals within all targeted industries. As the cable glands market is crucial to Eaton, as we are among the world’s leaders in the field, this is an excellent opportunity for you to develop on the long run within the Group. You will initially be expected to spend 2 days per week at our Coventry site, and to travel about 50% of your time.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsibility for planning, organizing and implementing sales programs based on a long term regional growth and sales strategy for Cable Glands and Accessories

  • Visits to end users, OEM’s, distributors and customers to present and demonstrate Eaton products

  • Developing and maintaining profitable customer relationships

  • Co-operating with and supporting other regionally based Crouse-Hinds sales teams

  • Technical and application support to the customers, distributors and Crouse-Hinds sales teams

  • Building pricing models and competitor awareness and provide relevant reports and information

  • Liaison with other regional sales offices to prepare commercial and technical quotations

  • Liaison with factories in Europe for administration of customer orders and delivery information

  • Co-ordinate project tracking for all new projects and quotations

  • Provides value based sales Training

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Successful cable glands’ sales experience
