Position Title Assistant Systems Integration Manager

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Assistant Systems Integration Manager for immediate employment for the Dallas, TX office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Supports the Senior Manager Startup and Integrated Testing under direction of the Director of Systems Safety and Certification. Reports status to the Authority. Responsible for integration testing for construction. This involves testing, operation of new construction and/or the existing system during integration testing and quality assurance that the system is constructed and designed to operate safely and in accordance with DART’s standards and specifications.
Review facilities and systems design submittals for conformance to requirements. Generate and enter comments, utilizing the DART Design Review Process. Scope of reviews includes systems safety and security, systems and civil interfaces, and operations and maintenance. Review team member’s comments to ensure compliance. Follow-up on disposition of design review comments and participate in Senior Management Reviews to resolve disputed comments.
Attend and actively participate in Systems/Facilities interface meetings and follow-up on all open interfaces during the design and construction stages to effectively integrate the LRT expansion programs into the existing DART system.
Conduct (If applicable), participate, prepare meeting minutes (if applicable), and follow up on action items to effectively integrate the LRT expansion programs into the existing DART system.
Review O&M Manuals for compliance with contract requirements, document, and transmit review comments. Meet with DART Project Owners, RCM, COR, etc. to provide clarification and resolve any disputed comments or issues.
Responsible for the integrated testing for new construction and/or the existing operating system. This involves testing, operation of the system during integrated testing and quality assurance that the system is constructed and designed to operate safely in accordance with DART’s standards and specifications.
Participate in systems and facilities pre-final and final inspections.Support FTA/PMOC/Monthly Progress reports as requested.
Act on behalf of Senior Manager Startup and Integrated Testing during his/her absence.
Other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent
5+ years' experience
Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required
- Experience with transit systems startup projects is preferred.
