Bank of America Auditor II - FAST in Dallas, Texas

Job Description:

The Corporate Audit Targeted Review - Field Assessment & Site Testing (FAST) team is a dedicated team within the Bank of America Corporate Audit department focused on conducting reviews that proactively address risk and emerging industry trends. Additionally, this team includes a predictive analytics team that helps determine the areas of focus to get ahead of issues.

Executes assigned audit activities with guidance from senior associates.

Utilizes analytical skills and product/technical expertise necessary to execute assigned

responsibilities.

Actively contributes and questions during team audit activities (completion of scoping tools, process mapping, risk assessments, Tollgates) and provides input to scope. Identifies control deficiencies, discuses with line management, and initiates control matter recommendations in assigned test areas. Understands and communicates connection of audit findings to broad strategic business objectives. Early stage of development of expertise (product line, technology, etc). Exposed to multiple LOBs to develop understanding of Bank and deepen business acumen. Industry knowledge and awareness, challenges the status quo.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and new environments, be flexible, and open minded

  • Demonstrated ability to be able to be decisive and committed to accomplish tasks

  • A minimum of 6 months of work experience

  • Must have the ability to travel up to 20-25%

Preferred Skills:

  • Preference given to the following majors: Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Administration

  • Intermediate Analytical / Automation Skills (SQL, SAS, Advanced Excel and Access)

  • Preference given to those who have work experience in the following areas: financial

  • services, accounting, internal auditing, management, information technology
