Bank of America Global Trade Support/Settlements Operations Analyst in Dallas, Texas

Job Description:

The associate is responsible formonitoring, analyzing, and validating global security trade and foreign exchange transactions utilizing the trust accounting system (PACE). An operations analyst will possess extensive technical, functional, and industry knowledge in areas of trade instruction, settlement, custodial networking, system applications, and risk control.

An ideal candidate would have security industry and accounting knowledge of global investments such as foreign stocks, bonds, foreign exchange, forward contracts, and derivative products. Strong mathematical skills to convert currency and reconcile cash are expected. Working knowledge of the trust business, the ability to process large volumes, work under pressure and meet deadlines are also expected.

Required Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Security Industry accounting knowledge of global investments such as foreign stocks, bonds, and foreign exchange.

  • Excellent communication skills in order to effectively interface with business partners.

  • Flexibility to work in an evolving environment as automation of processes and reorganization of process flows are implemented to achieve efficiencies

  • Strong organization skills and proven ability/experience in multi-tasking in order to maintain performance during peak times.

  • Ability to produce quality work within tight timeframes.

  • Flexibility of schedule to accommodate for peak processing days and times each month

  • Ability to work select holidays

  • Basic knowledge of financial transaction processing

  • Perform in a proactive and strategic manner

  • Completed 3 hrs of Investing in You curriculum (Internal Hires)
