Materials Linestocker


-Communicate on a regular basis with Materials Admin Coordinator for any missing production parts.

-Pull parts for jobs by the Friday before the scheduled production week, charge parts to job and give folder to Production Manager assistant by noon of that Friday.

-Fill in the “parts on shelf/missing part form and include in work order packet.

-Sign off on the job when the parts are pulled or when folders are received in dept.

-Daily review & sign off on jobs when shop is finished by checking for items not charged out or with no sell price.

-Follow up on missing parts, make sure they are taken to the shop when they arrive and make sure they are charged to the job when they are taken to the shop.

-Assist with checking in of incoming packages when needed.

-Carry and answer the radios in a timely manner.

-Advise the materials planning & purchasing supervisor of quality issues of any purchased parts.

-Assist with prep work for physical inventory and be available for the week of physical inventory.

-Print and keep production schedule up to date on a daily basis.

-Keep inventory on shelves marked and orderly. Add bins/locations when adding new parts to shelves.

-Gas specific task is to release enclosures and communicate with Metal Link on dates needed in house. Keep enclosure and base spreadsheet up to date on a daily basis.

-Keep cells informed of production schedule dates that cannot be met.

-Handle the green folders, get the parts through the shop and have them shipped out on time.

-Check on parts when you take the last from the shelf or if you see an inventory discrepancy.

-Help maintain fork lifts on a daily basis & perform other tasks as assigned.

-Daily JSA evaluation and submission of forms by end of day.


-Ability to keyboard and use excel spreadsheets, as well as other system programs

-Ability to organize and prioritize time and work

-Ability to follow safety rules and enforce them with others

-Ability to read and understand instructions and communicate effectively

-Ability to do simple math and write legibly

-Experience in fork lift driving

-Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet company standards for operation of equipment


-Possess a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, multi-task and adapt to change


-Ability to maintain a positive attitude, team confidentiality and work as a team member

-Ability to back up team members as needed

-Perform Housekeeping and CSE duties, and participate in sigma projects when needed

-Attend safety, employee and all other mandatory meetings

-Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and use proper lifting tools and techniques

-Bending, stretching, standing, kneeling, twisting and climbing
