Position Mission/SummaryUnderstand the product development life cycle, product strategy, planning design and development, and go-to market execution. Own the tactical execution of medical product portfolios for Commercial Business in conjunction with the local Product Manager and the local markets. Accountabilities Interact with the markets, to develop and execute state specific suites of medical plans by: * Partnering with Product Manager to understand market strategies/initiatives and portfolio details* Attending market strategy and portfolio design meetings to understand dynamics and drive execution* Compiling external and internal information used to support a portfolio refresh and market strategy Support Product Managers in assigned markets by:* Collaborating with key business partners to deliver and manage portfolios * Collaborating with Territory Manager to resolve product issues or questions that arise Assisting in the sourcing of competitive intelligence and development of training materials and strategy documents Providing Subject Matter Expertise to develop and maintain all process documentation * Provide support for ad-hoc requests and back up support for Product Manager Understanding of Benefits * Demonstrate a basic understanding of Aetna products/services/benefits/system capabilities
Business Acumen * Ability to complete database/system work with high quality and review reporting in support of portfolio execution and detailed plan/benefit accuracy* Ensure a high level of product/benefit compliance by understanding state and federal rules and regulation* Interface with internal and external partners and resources to ensure successful completion of all projects* Understand the business, markets supported, and industry trends and use that knowledge to execute FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCES
