Eaton Corporation Technical Support Representative - Level III in Denver, Colorado

Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds Business has an opening for a Technical Support Representative- Level III to support our MTL product line.

This position can be based anywhere in the US but will preferably be based out of Denver, Dallas or Houston.

As a part of the MTL product line, Wonderware West is the distribution channel for Wonderware Products selling into Oil and Gas, Consumer Packaged Goods, Water/Wastewater, and Solar verticals. This position is primarily responsible for supporting these sales by providing advanced technical support at the customer site.

Essential Functions:

  • Billable on-site issue resolution

  • Limited short term engagements

  • Low volume and Advanced Product support

  • Interact with Level 1 and Level 2 phone support and offer assistance as applicable

  • Document all customer interactions in call tracking database

  • Write tech notes and enhancing other documentation

  • Stay abreast of current relevant technologies

  • Focus studies on extended Wonderware product offering

  • Maintain current Wonderware technical certifications

  • Generate Continuing Education and technical training for Level 1

  • Act as a Technical Account Manager for key Customer First accounts

  • Maintain Core Microsoft Certifications

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma from an accredited institution is required

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Wonderware software in a technical capacity

  • Minimum 3 years working in at least one of our vertical markets, and basic understanding of the others

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is preferred

  • 7+ years doing tech support for Wonderware software is preferred

  • Microsoft Certifications are preferred

  • Current certified support provider certifications on all Wonderware software is preferred

  • High level of knowledge in our vertical markets is preferred

  • Working knowledge of low volume products

  • Wonderware MES

  • Wonderware Workflow

  • Asset Performance
