Cintas is currently looking for a Fleet Maintenance Technician to work with the Canada East Rental Division in a defined geographic territory. The Fleet Maintenance Technician will work with the location Fleet Maintenance Manager, Regional Fleet Manager, and local team to perform all necessary vehicle repairs and all other duties as assigned. The technician is responsible to inform Management when repairs are completed, so new work can be assigned. Responsible to identify and report any repairs found to be necessary whether or not previously assigned. Record time spent, parts used and repairs on the appropriate forms provided for each activity completed. Provide hands on training to Apprentice and Maintenance Technicians. Ensure vehicle standards and maintenance is in compliance with all Provincial and Federal Regulations and Company Policies. Immediately bring abnormal instances of vehicle abuse and major mechanical problems to the attention of the Fleet Manager. Immediately reports any unsafe practice or conditions to the attention of Management. Maintains a safe, clean and productive and efficient work area at all times.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three years automotive or truck mechanical repair
• Must hold a valid 310T certificate of qualification license or equivalent for the Province.
• Valid applicable Provincial license or other required certification to operate Company vehicles
• Possession of recommended minimum tools for a licensed Technician.
