The Role: The IBM Security Digital Sales Rep is responsible for the Digital Sales route to market for the IBM Security SIEM Solution as a Service (QRadar on Cloud) business across Europe.QRadar, integrates SIEM, log management, anomaly detection, vulnerability management, risk management and incident forensics into a unified, highly scalable, real-time solution that provides superior threat detection, greater ease of use, and low total cost of ownership compared with competitive products.” Responsibilities include:

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quota objectives for signings, revenue, and profit

  • Accurately forecast and maintain and expand your pipeline and provide regular updates to management regarding opportunities, trends and challenges

  • Develop sales plans in order to achieve individual and company goals

  • Plan, coordinate and deliver sales presentations and product demos both in person, by phone and web based

  • Document accurately and completely sales activities in IBMs CRM - Sales Connect

  • Coordinate multiple resources within an account and successfully closing business for IBM

  • Partner with the channel to drive incremental revenue

  • Maintain a high level of solution expertise and competitive intelligence

  • Personal Qualities:

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to clearly and effectively articulate IBM’s value

  • Ability to establish rapport at multiple levels of decision makers with excellent interpersonal skills

  • 2-3 years of experience in a B2B full-cycle sales role managing sales cycles from prospect to close

  • Experience in prospecting/sales through all digital channels ie phone, email, social media

  • Strong desire to learn security technology coupled with the ability to learn and apply product knowledge in a timely fashion

  • Ability to perform in a fast paced results-oriented yet team-oriented collaborative environment

  • Prominent organizational, presentation and time management skills


  • Basic requirements

The ideal candidate will include a University Degree matched to post-graduate education, including relevant certifications in the security domain as preferential. In addition to English the candidate will furthermore be required to be a native speaker or have native speaker proficiency in one of the following language: Any Nordic language, both in the written and spoken word.
