Welcome to the McKesson Clinical Decision Support (CDS) team. We build and enhance clinical decision support platforms which automate guidelines and other clinical evidence for use by physicians at the point of care. Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

Optimizing application for maximum speed and scalability
Working with third party vendors to develop software or integrate into company’s products
Guiding and contributing extensively to the ongoing collection, development, review and adoption of architecture and development standards and best practices
Staying up to date on latest technologies, open source projects and best practices
Pair-programming and mentoring developers
8 years’ experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems
4 years of front-end development experience
Proficiency with the JS ecosystem, including Node.js, NPM, webpack, Bower, QUnit. etc.
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS, and related such as PostCSS
Programming experience with Ember.js (java script)
Excellent knowledge of web services technologies, such as REST and JSON-APIAdditional Knowledge and Skills (preferred or plus skills)
Strong object-oriented design skills
Source code control with git
Agile development environment experience using Extreme Programming (XP), Lean Kanban Education 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience. MS or BS in Computer Sciences or Engineering preferred.
