CACI International Configuration Management Specialist, Principal in Falls Church, Virginia
The desired candidate will work as a member of a centralized Configuration Management Team, providing configuration management activities to support design, development, test, deployment and sustainment of Oracle ERP Financial Management capabilities. Selected candidate may also be asked to provide support to compliance and requirements management activities. Expected duties include:
Providing functional and architectural configuration management support
Participating in total lifecycle configuration management planning for approved program software releases
Establishing and maintaining the configuration identification structure for products and product configuration; selecting, defining, document and baselining product attributes; and assigning unique identifiers to each production and product configuration item
Ensuring that configuration control changes are properly identified, recorded, evaluated, approved or disapproved and incorporated and verified as appropriate
Performing configuration verification and audits so the performance and functional requirements as defined in the product definition information
Managing configuration status accounting to capture and maintain product configuration information
Supporting the management decision process regarding deployment issues
Supporting the implementation and integration of client acquired tools (Serena Business Manager (SBM)) used for Configuration Management and associated business process activities
Experience with the Serena Business Manager (SBM) product in areas of development and integration of the SBM product and capabilities:
1) Serena Request Center (SRC) - web portal for submitting PSR and viewing knowledge articles
2) Dimensions Requirement Manager (RM) - provides the ability to define, manage and trace requirements
3) Dimensions Configuration Manager (CM) - Supports software change and configuration management
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Prior technical development and integration experience with Serena Business Manager (SBM) product
Prior demonstrated configuration management experience
Strong analysis and oral/written communication skills
Current Secret Clearance or ability to attain a Secret Security Clearance.
Bachelor's degree in related field and 10-12 years of related experience.
Current DoD Secret clearance and IT-II (ADP-II) level
Prior experience in the DOD/Federal Government environment
Prior experience supporting Oracle ERP implementations
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
