Summary:

· TheProject Managerwill serve as the technical point of contact for the project, and coordinate internal project reviews with pertinent Fort Hood DPW personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

· Responsible for the successful performance of contract and ensuring project safety and quality control.

· Preparation of daily reports and documents.

· Responsible for support staff coordination and ensuring required supervision of contractor personnel is present during normal and other-than-normal duty hours.

· Training on work efforts and safety.

· Handle contractual matters, including contract deviations, modifications, inadequacies of any kind, and any questions related to the performance of work.

· Discipline or Counseling, if and when necessary.

· Associated Record Keeping.

· Required to follow all company personnel and safety policies, and perform all assigned duties in a safe work manner.

· May be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

Advanced skill in utilizing GFEBS Plant Maintenance modules and other automated office systems.

· BA or BS degree or four plus years directly related work experience required.

· A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in commercial facility building, maintenance, or repair as a Project Manager or Superintendent or experience working for an Architect/Engineer design firm.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Knowledge, understanding, and ability to independently use GFEBS on a daily basis. Advanced working

· Knowledge of local and IMCOM GFEBS Business Processes.

· Skill in using a variety of automated office software, to include Microsoft Office and Adobe products, among others. Skill level should be that of an advanced daily user with independent ability to perform various, complex tasks in Excel, Access, etc. Working knowledge of Dr. Checks.

· Ability to successfully multi-task, understand regulatory and local guidance, adhere to said guidance, and communicate said guidance to Contractors working in shops.

· The ability to carry out assigned work IAW simple instructions and direction. Good communications skills and basic knowledge of commonly-used office and telephone products and procedures.
