Position Title Electronics Tech Maint I

AECOM is immediately hiring for an Electronics Tech at Fort Polk, La.
Under supervision, performs simple and routine tasks or tests within, but not necessarily limited to a prescribed area of expertise. Duties will be varied and will fall under the generally accepted category of computer technical work.
Assist with the installation, fabrication, modification and operation of test equipment used on special projects.
Operate a variety of computer systems to assist in the collection and compilation of data.
Perform a wide variety of duties in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computers and peripheral equipment.
Test electronic circuits and components to locate and replace defective components, P.C. boards, using appropriate electronic test equipment and hand tools.
Maintain and repair PC hardware and auxiliary hardware.
Maintain parts inventory, technical documentation and record of repairs.
Assist with maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhaul of repair of equipment.
Provide miscellaneous technical and non-technical support as required or directed.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Vocational technical training beyond high school and some job-related experience or equivalent
Knowledge of components, wiring circuits; repairs simple electronic equipment and taking test using multi-meters
Reads semiconductor testers,curve tracers and oscilloscopes
Excellent written communication skills; working knowledge of word processing and integrated software application; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work as required.
Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
