Eaton Corporation Aftermarket Sales Director in Fort Worth, Texas
Eaton Corporation’s Fuel and Motion Control (FMC) Division of Eaton Aerospace, has an opening for an Aftermarket Sales Director.
The primary function of this position is to lead the team accountable for the Sales and Marketing function within FMC serving the commercial and military aftermarket. This position will achieve the division’s sales and profitability objectives through superior customer service, business capture, channel management, and pricing excellence. This role will be accountable for preparing and achieving the strategic and profit plan objectives for aftermarket customers within the division. Other functions of the position include:
Responsible for partnering with Group Commercial and Military Aftermarket sales teams, Division Customer Service, Engineering and Operations teams to meet the sales and profit objectives for the aftermarket.
Responsible for ongoing product and service offerings gap analysis, competitor analysis and market share data. Track intake and sales for all FMC locations, and lead teams to deliver commitments.
Create the vision for a world class aftermarket sales organization and generate team support through effective communication and empowerment.
Develop strategy and specific action plan to drive short term and long term growth in orders and sales through customer responsiveness, quality of communications, and delivery performance.
Develop the Aftermarket team through recruitment of top talent, skill development of existing organization and establishment of an effective performance management process.
Support FMC Strategic Initiatives through the identification of growth opportunities that result in high margin retrofit/upgrades, increase in service and repair business, and expanded growth in global markets.
Support business financial objectives through market and customer intelligence to ensure accurate planning and forecasting. Drive sales and profitability through continuous improvement activities.
Drive the Customer Centric Initiative throughout the Aftermarket organization; develop tools and processes that strengthen the team and customer relationships.
Other duties as assigned.
Additional Position Criteria:
Practical understanding of accounting and finance terms, principles and how they are applied
Knowledge of fundamental marketing concepts and strategies
Knowledge and demonstrated use of Value Cycle tools , or equivalent
Knowledge of the aerospace market, Eaton’s products, customers and competitors
Knowledge of problem solving tools (i.e. Six Sigma, 8D, Kaizen)
Strong communication skills – verbal and written
Organization and planning skills
Strong teaming and team problem solving skills
5- 7 years in Aerospace industry or related experience
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required.
