The IT Compliance Manager Senior is responsible for describing and measuring adherence to regulatory requirements established by law, regulation, or contractual language within the information technology organization. Directly responsible for communicating criticality of compliance requirements, describing success criteria within the compliance space, overseeing and monitoring compliance activities, and handling of exceptions and responding to compliance vulnerabilities. Serves as the point of contact for all internal and external compliance audit requests, and is responsible for coordination of all regulatory audit engagement activities within the technology organization.
Principal Accountabilities (Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.)
Subject matter expert on regulatory and compliance requirements for operations and maintenance, and project activities.
Provide management and oversight for all IT compliance activities such as SOX, DCAA, and ISO.
Responsible for integration with other non-IT compliance organizations (Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain, Trade Compliance, others) for organizational compliance requirements.
Coordinate all internal and external IT audit and IT compliance activities, such as SOX and DCAA
Responsible for revision, consolidation, and expansion of compliance frameworks as environment changes.
Monitor and report on compliance effectiveness. Testing management intent, design, population, implementation, evidencing.
Manage IT governance – policy and procedures.
Assess compliance and operational risks and develop risk management strategies.
Conduct and oversee periodic internal assessments or audits to ensure compliance is maintained.
Evidence adherence to compliance objectives.
Complete quarterly compliance assessments and reporting.
Manage and remediate oversight of all identified control vulnerabilities.
Inventory all applicable regulatory requirements, incorporating into a single, unified framework.
Identify and plan for upcoming, new or changing regulatory considerations.
Perform additional duties as requested. Knowledge & Skills
Advanced knowledge of IT development testing practices and techniques.
Ability to multi-task effectively and manage multiple priorities.
Current on the latest technological advances and best practices within industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong knowledge of databases and spreadsheets.
Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal, and project management skills.

Experience & Education
Must have at least one of the following two certifications: Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Bachelor’s degree in information technology preferred; years of relevant experience may be substituted in place of a degree.
Ten (10) years’ progressively responsible experience in information technology environment with strong background in software and infrastructure. Previous management experience.
Experience with technology aspects of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
