Lockheed Martin Project Engineer Sr in Fort Worth, Texas

Candidate will perform planning, organization, control and completion of engineering projects within the Cybersecurity Engineering Directorate. These projects will include but are not limited to End of Life (EoL) Migration, Authority to Operate (ATO) database management and status tracking, and working linkages between existing Earned Value systems to create status metrics. Candidate will be responsible for the development, maturity, and maintenance of leading indicators, quality metrics and the tools/platform from which they are derived. Candidate will support various CAM(s) as required during program, EVMS, VAR reviews, and INARs. The candidate will perform technical, operational, and business coordination between the Aero CSE team across the Aero enterprise, to include all the LOBs and support functions.

Candidate is expected to perform internal functions to ensure horizontal and vertical integration within and between the teams.

Candidate responsibilities will include examination of gaps, assessment and coordination of Engineering impacts from new or modified scope, development of execution schedules, and coordination of technical documentation and associated estimates (RFPs, TSOWs, SSOWs, BOE development, pricing and negotiations).

Basic Qualifications Candidate must have experience working within and outside of the organization to gather information on security engineering, cyber engineering solutions and technologies, and analyze for implementation in company products. Must have experience working in a team environment and possess the ability to plan and execute tasks efficiently and gather and disseminate information working with peers, subordinates and management. Experience in Earned Value Management practices. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. This position will require a DOD security clearance.

Desired skills The ideal candidate will be familiar with requirements and configuration management and general systems engineering principles. Experience with developing and flowing requirements, design definition, integration and testing is a plus. Preferred 2+ years experience with Earned Value techniques and tools. Experience developing and interpreting design requirements and implementation roadmaps, metrics and other controls to monitor and report on program progress and health. Degree in an engineering or science discipline. Ability to work task assignments independently and effectively in a team environment Ability to decompose requirements to assure accurate and efficient flow to meet and help drive business guidelines and program contractual needs. Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be highly energetic and self-motivated.
