Maintain all manual, semi automated, automated production and test equipment. Provide assistance in support of new equipment installation. Execute validation protocols and calibrations on appropriate equipment. Maintain all production equipment to support the requirements of Operations. Perform Facility maintenance as needed. Follow all safety standards and guidelines.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Perform validations and calibrations on equipment to ensure their effectiveness.

  2. Determine corrective actions based on operational performance and trouble shooting.

  3. Assist engineers with installation, testing, and validation of new production equipment.

  4. Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manual, semi-automated, and automated production equipment from blueprints, technical manuals, or vendor specifications involving electrical, electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics systems.

  5. Recognize and perform machine adjustments to various machine systems, operational interlocks, sensors, energy systems isolations, and other ancillary inputs to machine controls according to Company safety procedures.

  6. Maintain certifications for calibrated equipment, maintenance documentation, machine history, and all other appropriate documentation for production equipment.

  7. Maintain equipment documentation.

  8. Follow all applicable Corporate, GMP, ISO and safety guidelines.

  9. Perform general facility maintenance as required.

  10. Other duties as assigned.

Educational/License Requirements:

  • Associate degree or Certificate in Applied Sciences (i.e., Electronic Engineering Technology, Industrial Computer Technology, Industrial Implementation, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or other relevant coursework) preferred.

Experience Requirements:

  • Three to five years relevant experience (i.e., semi automated, automatic packaging equipment, instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, and electronics).

  • One to two years experience in PLC programming.

  • Must be able to read/understand blueprints, equipment manuals, and industrial standards. Independent troubleshooting and evaluation of equipment failures necessary.

  • Reading, writing, and basic math skills required
