Description:

Extensive experience on BI system architecture and support skills, have strong knowledge on the BI project implementation at enterprise level.

BS degree with 5+ years of experience in supporting BI system like SAP BO, IBM cognos,. Also preferable experience with Business Intelligence bolt-on.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sr. SAP Business Objects Administrator

  • Candidate will perform installation, migration, configuration, maintenance, technical support and troubleshooting of Business Objects implementation

  • Participate in and contribute to the implementation of best industry practices for Business Objects tool set

  • Administration, architecture, installation of BOBJ, migration, maintenance and technical support

  • Contribute to coordination and planning of Business Objects / Databases / Infrastructure related activities / outages

  • Perform testing of Business Objects support packages and patches

  • Support changes in server configurations and troubleshooting of Business Objects SDLC environment

  • Administration experience in BOBJ 4.1 at minimum. This should include access security setup in cms, performance tuning, Windows AD experience and SSO.

  • Contribute to architecture and capacity planning activities

  • Conduct performance tuning and capacity management

  • Implement patches and other day-to-day Business Objects administration task

  • Work with IT and business users to resolve support and technical questions

  • Contribute to coordination and planning of Business Objects related activities

  • Provide off-hours and weekend support in an on-call rotation

  • Provide system support when issues occur for assigned systems as well as systems in the SAP landscape. Support from Operating System through points of integration.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Development/Administration and Business Intelligence/analytics

  • Significant recent experience in the use of Business Objects (version 4.1 up)

  • Proven experience in BO Administration required.

  • Extensive experience with BI application architecture and development

  • 5+ years of experience with Cognos BI

  • Hands-on experience in designing technical architecture, installation and configuration of BI Stack components

  • Extensive knowledge in Presentation layer such as MOLAP, ROLAP, HOLAP, Ad-hoc reports

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent amount of related experience
