Job Description

Position Summary:

Manufacturing and completing documentation pertaining to IHC products. Works with department supervisor to achieve goals and resolve issues with production schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulates product vials with antibody products or chemicals according to manufacturing schedule or demand.

  • Prepare solutions for production process. Review documentation and check all calculations.

  • Comply with safety requirements, cGMP, SOP and manufacturing documentation.

  • Provide support to Manufacturing Formulation to meet production demands.

  • Exhibit detail oriented documentation skills.

  • Ability to determine appropriate inventory demand and limits.

  • Communicate effectively and ability to work in a team environment.

  • Exhibits professional interpersonal skills.

  • Work with coworkers and supervisor to effectively troubleshoot product or process issues.

  • Operates process and testing equipment such as spectrophotometer, pH meters, and pipettes.

  • Performs ERP transactions to reflect raw material consumption and update product status.

  • Participates in continuous operational improvement.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in scientific discipline (Biology or Biochemistry preferred), or 2-4 years industry experience to include basic lab skills and knowledge of safety precautions.

  • Familiarity with Quality System Regulations with thorough knowledge of cGMPs preferred.

  • Experience working with potentially hazardous materials preferred.
