CACI International Acquisition Analyst, Principal (Ft. Belvoir, VA) - Top Secret Clearance in Ft Belvoir, Virginia
Assigned as a Senior Acquisition / Contract Analyst for the PD Machine Foreign Language Translation System (MFLTS).
Duties and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Take a lead role in providing contract management and analysis including coordination with appropriate agencies
Manage and administer complex contracts through the Acquisition Requirements Package (ARP) approval process
Conduct and complete market research reports and/or author white papers to conceptualize program contract strategy and develop acquisition strategy recommendations
Assist with the technical writing and creation of Statements of Work (SOW) and Performance Work Statements (PWS)
Develop the complete set of documentation, approvals and notices to release a solicitation within tight milestones
Understand all integrated aspects of acquisition cycle from basic research to production and test
Work with senior management to identify important acquisition issues
Research, interpret and recommend appropriate application of acquisition policies, procedures, statutes and directives
Prepare associated acquisition documentation to include acquisition plans, acquisition strategies, source selection plans, requests for proposal, and other transaction proposals and associated determinations and justifications required by statute or policy
Coordinate, administer, and lead acquisition and contracting Working Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
Input and manage acquisition and contract schedules through an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 10 years’ experience. (10 years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education for a total of 20 years’ experience.)
Must have experience with program/acquisition/contract documents and their associated documentation requirements.
Must possess a current Top Secret clearance.
Knowledge of the MFLTS program.
In-depth knowledge of DoD 5000 series regulations that define the Defense Acquisition System.
Defense Acquisition University (DAU) certification(s).
Experience with Microsoft Project developing and maintaining a resource loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
