Job Description:

CACI is seeking a VMWare and UCS Engineer SME to support a DoD client in Augusta, GA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and securing out-of-the-box VMWare-on-UCS implementations, both remotely and on an installation site. Other responsibilities include managing VMWare ESXi and EMC Enterprise Storage to ensure hosted enterprise virtual server environments are properly configured and delivered to administration staff with correct and appropriate storage, redundancy, networking, and virtual hardware specifications (e.g. correctly sized Random Access Memory, number of CPUs, prioritization of failover, etc).

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance

  • 4+ years of related experience

  • Must have extensive experience investigating, identifying and resolving issues in an interactive environment spanning VMWare enterprise tooling and services (software), EMC storage (SAN), Cisco UCS (Blade Servers) and Cisco Nexus (SAN and Network Switching).

  • B.S or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or IT related field.
