  • Provide technical leadership for the technology development for technologists

  • Collaborate with global experts, external partners and extended teams to enable technology development

  • Lead the development of advanced technology projects, co-ordinate with globally diverse cross-functional project teams effectively and deliver technology solution

  • Provide hands-on solutions on critical projects; provide technical mentoring on complex projects involving multiple components or systems for completeness and compatibility with customer objectives and standards

  • Identify, evaluate and transfer leading technologies that pertain to existing, as well as, potentially new product lines.

• Tests and validates predictive models.

• Builds digital twins and performs data visualization.

• Conducts scalable data research on and off line.

• Implements automated processes for efficiently producing scale models.

• Designs, modifies and builds new data processes.

• Generates algorithms and creates models.

• Collaborates with database engineers and other scientists.

• Implements new or enhanced solutions designed to access and handle data more efficiently.

  • Participate in internal forums like CoP / CoI and represent in external forums & professional bodies developing & motivating, coaching,

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree Or Ph.D. in Mechanical / Electrical / Systems / Controls Engineering / Computer science / statistics or equivalent technical field from accredited institutions.

  • 7+ years of engineering/technology development experience in relevant domain for the data science technologies focused on intelligent products, systems and services.

  • Within innovation or research and technology organizations from major MNCs and/or Overseas experience (e.g. Degrees, exchange research program) highly desirable.

  • Proven track record of delivering technology concepts through to commercialization is desired.

  • Proven track record of being able to formulate, articulate, promote and execute cohesive advance technology solutions development.

  • Demonstrated track record working from customer requirements through systems architecture concepts through to a multi-generation product plan.

  • Demonstrated excellence in theoretical and applied methods of machine learning and sensor fusion with significant experience with both physics-based and data-driven modeling and simulation techniques.

  • Possess strong business acumen and the ability to understand and formulate compelling value propositions and to understand and drive through value and adoption chain.

  • Proven track record for IP generation and publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals is desired.

  • Experience in building production grade machine learning and data fusion enabled solutions end to end is a plus. Hands on experience with common machine learning tools (Weka, R, RapidMiner and etc.) and experience with AWS Or Azure is a plus.

  • Ability to apply Design for Six Sigma methodologies including QFD, DoE and reliability engineering in the course of their work. Green belt certification in DFSS or DMAIC is highly desired.

  • Experience in leading projects with multiple stakeholders in matrix organization and strong project management experience is required.

  • Working experience with decision algorithms, statistical classification methodologies, sensing, data aggregation, information fusion and optimization methodologies. Working experience especially in the context of model-based and hardware-in-loop control algorithm and software development processes will be added advantage.

  • Ideal candidate will also have deep understanding of advanced controls methods in complex industrial systems with both dynamical and finite states.
