This position is responsible for providing business direction, clinical expertise and project management support of initiatives to promote the delivery of high quality constituent-focused care in genetic/genomic medicine and molecular pathology. This position offers the opportunity to promote high quality and creative solutions in a rapidly evolving area of medical innovation.

Fundamental Components:

This person will work on an array of initiatives designed to optimize the quality and value of genetic/genomic technologies at Aetna. Responsible for development and implementation of initiatives that supports work/team. Work closely with all functional areas to identify and implement clinical quality and economic initiatives. Proactively lead complex projects by setting and managing strategic direction and owning end-to-end implementation and delivery.


5+ years of experience managing complex projects in health care systems or industry focused on genetics, genomics, or molecular pathology.

Graduate level degree preferred. Focused clinical education and work experience in genetics, genetic counseling or molecular pathology required.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.


Desired locations are Blue Bell PA, Hartford CT or New York City. Other locations considered.
