Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Multi-Year Planning & Annual Plan:

  • Assist in managing and coordinating the consolidation process, provide guidance and support to the Divisional Financial Representative community, and implementing a control environment that ensures completeness and accuracy in financial deliverables and appropriate supporting documentation.

Monthly Close Reporting:

  • Manage and deliver monthly reports that add value and assist management in strategically managing the organization. Familiarity/understanding of the following is a plus:

  • Direct, Partially, Distributed expense concepts and/or inner workings (i.e. chargebacks/allocations).

  • Forecasting concept and/or process.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare, evaluate, and validate complex internal and/or external financial and operational reports, both routine and ad-hoc. Presenting analyses that provide meaningful insight and “tell the story (written and verbally)” in business terms.

  • Perform analysis and interpretation of trends and variances holistically and across the Enterprise Operations & Technology segments. Interacting with cross functional peers on a frequent basis. Validate information and analyses.

  • Promote an expense culture and challenge assumptions and forecast through monthly expense reviews.

  • Identify and use appropriate tools (such as TM1) to obtain, compile and analyze more complex data necessary to support more advanced financial reports and analysis. Improve financial and control processes to enhance efficiency, provide new capabilities, and/or align with Enterprise Operations and Technology Strategy

  • Assist in tactical production of financial plan in support of the Enterprise Operations and Technology strategy and forecast for the organization (Multi-year and Annual Plan).

  • Synthesize and present exhibits, results, observations, recommendations to direct manager, team members, and/or cross functional peers.

  • Prepare complex and review routine financial activities including journal entries and account reconciliation

  • Perform financial controls in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Job Summary:

The Enterprise Operations & Technology Controller Reporting team manages the enterprise reporting and analytics in support of the multi-year and annual planning process and monthly close cycles. This role plays an integral part in consolidating results across the Enterprise Operations & Technology segments in order to provide the Senior Leadership Team with financial and analytical support. Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred. Typically 3-4 years of related experience. General knowledge of Financial Analysis concepts and processes. General Knowledge: Possesses sufficient knowledge to perform most work in normal situations.
