We are currently seeking Underwriting Analysts to support Aetna's ability to achieve its financial and strategic goals. Underwriting support primarily includes identifying, evaluating, and managing risk in order to maximize revenue, membership and earnings

Fundamental Components:

Associates will support current Aetna National Accounts plan sponsors by gathering data to support the renewal and new business rating process. Assist with the analysis and research of data. Ensures data quality and accuracy. Maintain clear documentation/audit trails. Works collaboratively with the Underwriting teams and clearly communicates deliverables to Underwriting Consultants. Meet reporting requirements as they are identified.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Bachelors degree or equivalent, considering recent college graduates with business or math related field of study. 1 year business experience and/or recent internship(s) Basic MS Office and reporting skills Strong math aptitude

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

This position supports National Accounts Renewal and New Business Underwriting. It's a fast-paced, team environment which will require the right candidate to be adaptable to changing priorities. This is an entry-level Underwriting position with growth opportunity.
