Work you ll doWe recognize that you have unique skills, experiences, and interests, so we divide the broad scope of the DAS Associate Analyst role into skills-based segments in order to best align each professional with a focus area. The segments function as subgroups that our analysts leverage to network and enhance their professional development. Setting our people up for success is our highest priority. The DAS Associate Analyst will align to one of the following areas: Application Developer, Business Systems Analysis, or Business Data Analytics. Illustrative Duties and Responsibilities:Application Developer: May focus on software development, web development (using C#, ASP.NET, XML, JavaScript) and database development (using MS SQL Server, T-SQL). Assist in designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting application software. May focus on mobile application development. Assist in investigating and correcting reported issues with existing software.Business Systems Analysis: Collaborate with various functions to assist with analyzing the business needs and develop logical specifications for hardware/software systems. Assist with gathering information and evaluating output requirements and formats. Assist with developing test cases and testing procedures. Work closely with application developers, designers, and architects to ensure a shared understand of the business model and detailed function requirements. Business Data Analytics: Assist with conducting research and analysis related to ITS business goals and objectives. Pull business data and assist with developing reports, charts, and presentations that aid leadership in making strategic decisions. Assist with planning and designing business processes to improve business activities. Assist as needed with special projects. The teamAs an Information Technology Services intern, you ll have the opportunity to work in one of four ITS Service Lines: Deloitte Applications Studios (DAS), Technology and Infrastructure (T&I), CyberSecurity, or Technology Management Operations (TMO). Here you ll get the chance to work with an experienced team on projects that will build on your technical and business skills and help our clients achieve a higher level of service in operational efficiency and business value. Depending on your role, you ll will have the opportunity to engage in cyber risk detection and prevention, web/mobile application design and development, web hosting, database administration and management, and overall business operations. QualificationsRequired: Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, or in a related field. (sophomore or junior standing) Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Outlook and Excel), C#, ASP.NET, XML and JavaScript Preferred: Strong academic track record (minimum 3.2 GPA) Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management, peers, and clients.
