WindStream Communications Account Exec-Whls-Transport in Herndon, Virginia
• Develop business relationships with Wholesale Customers particularly in the Content and CDN vertical. • Understand Windstream's network and facility capabilities • Work closely with Windstream ICSC for referral of extraordinary issues and requests • Promote Windstream CLEC network transport in [INVALID] markets • Utilize NDA pricing tool for tariff pricing • Interact with local operations personnel on special projects • Prepare contracts and service orders for customer presentation • Maintain knowledge regarding competitor product offerings and pricing • Stay abreast of telecommunications industry issues • Interfaces with the largest and most complex wholesale accounts
Team Orientation: Work in a team environment, with minimal supervision, managing multiple projects with positive results. Skills: Basic computer programs, including Microsoft Outlook, Powerpoint and Visio, to diagram customer network solutions • Strong customer service orientation • Demonstrate above average verbal and written communication skills • Travel required for customer or industry meetings
College degree or equivalent and 7 years professional experience with 5 years directly related to the job (3 years of CLEC or 5 years selling voice/data/communications equipment); or 11 years professional level equivalent related experience; or a combination of education and related professional level experience required.
