CACI NSS, Inc. has an immediate opportunity for a Systems Engineer to provide cutting edge services within the Intelligence Community.

We are seeking an Engineer to join a high performing team of engineers supporting the customer’s Enterprise SharePoint and Exchange platforms in a fast-paced environment.

Duties include:

  • Check ticket queues and perform initial triage (getting necessary info from customer and requesting approvals to access content before working ticket or escalating).

  • Take full ownership of ticket, ensure work is being documented, and ensuring forward movement towards ticket resolution.

  • Work tickets and only escalate to engineers or developers when internal or open source solutions do not resolve issue. Typical issues are permissions, user access, data loss, and user education.

  • Perform restores of customer sites/subsites.

  • Creating images and building VMs for use by engineers and developers.

  • Documenting new work processes as enterprise resources are replaced or updated with new releases.

  • Provide Tier 3 support and engineering for IC connectivity; Community mail platforms that ride on top of Domino Mail platform.

  • Troubleshooting issues too complex for Tier 1 / Tier 2.

  • Assist in planning, testing, and implementation of community mail platform upgrades.

  • Analyze system performance and recommend corrective and preemptive actions.

Typically requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent and five to seven years of related work experience.

Position requires the ability to maintain a Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph US government security clearance.


  • Windows OS

  • Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Experience with one or more of the following:

  • SharePoint infrastructure knowledge

  • Databases

  • Load Balancing solutions

  • Identity Management solutions

  • Scripting Solutions (e.g., PowerShell)

  • Windows (e.g., Active Directory, DNS, IIS)

Previous experience with customer’s operational environment


  • SharePoint certification (desired)

  • Microsoft Identity Integration Server certification (desired)

Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) (desired
