Marketing Program Manager

Our digital marketing team is seeking an accomplished and energetic Marketing Program Manager to help design, run, and report on our outbound marketing activities. These programs are focused on acquiring new leads, increasing engagement, and expanding the Company’s sales pipeline. With the support of corporate marketing leadership, this individual will be a valued member of our automated marketing team, managing our company’s lead acquisition and nurturing needs from program design to implementation, from execution to reporting, and analysis.
The Marketing Program Manager position requires more than just the ability to execute against existing and traditional campaigns models. This role will be responsible for the total life-cycle of strategic marketing campaigns—collaborating with stakeholders to identify new opportunities, developing strategies, designing programs, and then executing, measuring, and evaluating them against agreed upon business goals and objectives.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with one or more of the current generation of marketing automation platforms (Eloqua, Marketo or equivalent) and be familiar with their general operation and maintenance. This includes experience building programs, generating lists, launching email campaigns, segmenting data, scoring leads, and reporting on results. However, we will also consider applicants with a more traditional marketing program background and provide comprehensive training on the platform in order to ensure their success.
Running strategic activities for a defined set of outbound marketing programs and associated campaigns that may target existing install base, competitive replacement opportunities, or adjacent/vertical markets via trade show events, webinars, content offers/promotion, PPC, social or 3 rd party marketing channels.
Setting, managing, and tracking strategic measurable objectives, campaign timelines and budgets. This involves working in coordination with internal stakeholders and the marketing team to ensure campaigns achieve their stated goals, on time and on budget.
Using HTML and WYSIWYG editors to build emails and landing pages based on established templates. Updating existing template and creating new ones when required.
Working with internal copywriters to draft, proof and test campaign assets, including email creative, landing pages and forms.
Tracking, analyzing and reporting on program/campaign performance.
Recommending improvements and refinements to existing programs.
Contributing to the implementation of new and innovative marketing strategies.
The ideal candidate will have:
5+ years of experience building and managing digital marketing programs and operations
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
Proven track record of successful campaign development and execution, preferably in a B2B capital equipment environment
Experience with marketing automation applications and CRM software platforms
Thorough understanding of online, offline, and direct marketing principles and practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Technical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
Strong Excel and general math skills
Good understanding of general internet technologies and general knowledge of web design (HTML and basic CSS), and a proactive interest in expanding current technical skill-set
Candidate should be flexible, demonstrate professional initiative, and possess a strong desire to be part of an energetic team focused on delivering quality solutions to our sales and product group constituents
