Since 1975, Park Plaza Hospital has been offering complete medical services, including surgery as well as outpatient, imaging and rehabilitation. Plaza Specialty Hospital, a hospital within a hospital, has been providing long-term acute care to those needing prolonged hospitalization and recovery since 1994.

Responsibilities: This position is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and approval of all contracts/agreements relative to the operations of the Park Plaza Hospital and Medical Center (“Hospital”) and the Hospital’s MOB, Plaza Medical Center (“PMC”). Contract Administrator has oversight of Hospital’s and PMC’s eCATS system (the HCA contracts management system). This position monitors, maintains and ensures the integrity of the contract’s management system (“eCATS”) for all contracts/agreements of Hospital and PMC according to HCA and CIA standards, policies, procedures, contractual obligations and guidelines. Although the Contract Administrator is not delegated supervisory authority over department managers, the work includes expression of representative authority in the transmission of policy and procedures relating to contracts. This position acts as the Hospital’s liaison with the HCA Legal department. This role is primarily responsible for seeing contract documentation from inception through to completion with little or no supervision, creating and shepherding the eCATS package through the eCATS approval process until execution of the contract and archival of the package. After execution of contract, contract administrator reviews, monitors and approves or denies payment requests under contract to ensure strict adherence to contract terms. The contract administrator must exercise independent judgment requiring discretion in the preparation of contracts and correspondence/communications with all levels of staff and vendors. This position works closely with Hospital Compliance officer to ensure that the execution of role strictly adheres to HCA Policy and Compliance Charter requirements. * Establishes and maintains quality control and integrity of existing and new contract packages to contract management program("eCATS") for Park Plaza Hospital(PPH") and Plaza Medical Center("PMC") * Acts as primary liaison between PPH and HCA legal department to ensure compliance with HCA's eCATS program * Facilitates resolutions of contracts and eCATS approval status issues between HCA legal department, Regional finance and PPH Administration for all contracts/eCATS matters * Provides timely reports to HCO and PPH compliance Committee at least monthly and more often as needed * Ensures that all contracts and supporting documentation for PPH and PMC are uploaded into HCA's eCATS program * Complies with all applicable statues, rules, regulations, policies and procedures and corporate ethics program * Maintains agreements/contracts in eCATS for Park Plaza Hospital("PPH") and Plaza Medical Center("PMC") * Works with PPH Administration, HCO and department directors/managers to initiate new accounts, renew contracts, renew existing contracts, amend contracts and to track the status of all eCATS contract packages * Ensures adherence to contract terms when requested by CFO to approve/dent request for payment under vendor contract and monitors and ensures adherence to contract terms for all contracts


High school diploma and/or equivalent or some college. Bachelor's degree preferred. Five years office administrative work required with a minimum of two years Paralegal experience and/or two years Contract Management experience in an healthcare environment.

Moderate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications(specifically Word, Excel and Outlook) and advanced skills in internet research. Excellent written, verbal, spelling, grammar and phone skills required. Should be highly organized and able to multi-task.

Moderate to light lifting files. Must be able to sit at work station and type in 8 hour days.
