You will report to and work alongside an experienced leader to manage daily operational activities including but not limited to financial oversight, progress reporting, information management, and meeting development & execution. Work you ll doAs a Business Process & Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will implement and inspire an organization for continuous improvement and change. You will lead projects, coach other individuals running lean projects and support the team in achieving a continuous improvement culture. Other responsibilities will include: Lead the development and implementation of business process improvementParticipate in and take responsibility for various work streams that support the delivery of the Firm's Continuous Improvement strategyEvaluate existing business and operational flows, understand as-is processes and develop/prepare recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements/optimizations, prepare to-be process flowsAble to lead, execute complex process improvement projectsAnalyze business initiatives by understanding process outcomes to maximize results relative to company strategySolicit feedback from internal customers to determine best response to continually improve process performanceIdentify waste, and develops specific proposals and execution plans for improvement projectsDeconstructs technical concepts and metrics to facilitate process developmentDevelops repeatable, and thus scalable, plans and processes in order to speed time to market and improve operational efficiencyManage business process improvement projects to an agreed project plan.Provide data analysis that supports process design and re- engineering of business processes.Carry out advance data collection and analysis for process mapping and cost analysis to determine feasibility and benefits measurementCollect data to identify root cause of problems and measure performance against process requirementsProvide assistance in the development of business cases that effectively illustrate the value of the need - from cost/benefits and alignment to the enterprise and business goalsAuthor process documentation, including current state analysis, recommendations, future state and preliminary (high-level and notional) implementation plansCommunicate business process enhancements and prioritization of solution requests and approved projects within the business process areas, ensuring that projects / requests align with the technology that best provides maximum return on investmentInteracts closely with matrixed cross-functional teams in order to secure alignmentManage metrics and performanceDevelop metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.Helps to define success metrics for each new system or process and establishes a plan to track, monitor, and measure the success of those metricsDefine and establishes consistent end to end business processes, success criteria, KPIs and targetsProvide measurable value to internal operationsParticipates in process improvement and organizational optimization projects, enhancing internal team processes and toolsProvide professional business process improvement expertise and support to teams by being the subject matter expert about Lean and Six Sigma techniquesCoach mentor, and potentially train BeltsSummarize and disseminate project execution lessons learned, at project closure.Oversee the process of capturing and evaluating new ideas, to maintain the project pipeline of improvement opportunitiesIdentify and publicize success stories, including sustainable Quick Wins, to recognize individual and team efforts, and to grow our Continuous Improvement culture.Perform all other essential duties as assigned. QualificationsRequiredBachelor s / Master s DegreeMinimum five years of relevant experience in internal process improvement/business analysis, and/or investment/foundation operationsStrong process improvement experience required; Must be Lean and Six Sigma Black Belt Certified with expertise in implementing change, gained in transactional areasExcellent leadership, facilitation, and communication skillsAbility to work with employees at all levels of the organizationAbility to teach and coachSelf-starter with excellent organization skillsSolid relationship building and management skills; professional demeanor and relentless follow-through in a non-threatening manner.
