Responsibilities:

  • Providing front line support to the key applications used within the business, including maintenance of assets and problems solving issues within the Facilities function. Using a computer aided facilities management system

  • Conducts day-to-day operations to deliver a standardized approach to the site buildings and the infrastructure

  • Supports buildings project work. Project manages small infrastructure and construction projects

  • Help Design process and solutions for business improvements projects

  • Help with changes, where necessary to Develop the team and third party vendors

  • Understanding new business requirements & support improvement

  • Communicate with the business and provide training where applicable

  • Sourcing information, interpreting, developing and implementing achieving results to agreed deadlines

  • Supporting the departments on key tasks and projects, supporting team members, working both independently and within teams

Qualifications

Skills and experience required :

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or commercial environment would be an advantage; particularly within a customer facing / support environment

  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills with the ability to work well within a team and use your initiative, and

  • Ambition, flexibility and confidence coupled with creativity, imagination and a desire to learn; and a willingness to take on responsibility

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • Studying for a Facilities management, Civil Engineering, Business

Training Provided:

  • A comprehensive induction programme; including in-house training

  • The opportunity to develop your skills both personally and professionally through regular reviews with your line manager, identifying and supporting any areas which require further development

  • Comprehensive graduate development scheme, employing a number of graduates each year in a variety of disciplines. Sessions are arranged to provide the opportunity to build relationships and skills as well as give support and guidance. Training provided includes presentation skills, time management and report writing.

Salary: GBP 18,200
