TheAircraft Field Services Maintenance Representative provides daily oversight of all functional and operational activities in maintenance of facilities, equipment and machinery. Ensures all maintenance functions are conducted in accordance with appropriate safety directives, standard operating procedures, and technical manuals. The Aircraft Field Service Maintenance Representative provides advanced aircraft subject knowledge for the program. The incumbent will interface with the field on behalf of the Program Management Office (PMO) for field matters relating to aircraft. Required to provide assistance to sites to resolve complex technical issues to include troubleshooting, aircraft configuration and capability, and coordination of engineering support.
Principal Accountabilities (Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract)
Ensure maximum efficient operations of facilities, equipment and machinery through the direction of a technical support staff.
Coordinate the flow of maintenance and supervise maintenance status reporting.
Recommend equipment modification for upgrades.
Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs
Assign and coordinate the work of maintenance staff and vendors.
Review and implement all mechanical specifications and manuals for current operations.
Coordinate specifications and procurement of capital expenditures.
Responsible for installation of equipment, preventative maintenance, and facility/equipment repair to support manufacturing.
Establish and track progress toward meeting the goals and objectives of process improvement procedures.
Ensure all direct reports and maintenance employees receive job and safety training. Recommend and initiate personnel actions.
Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and technical directives.
Supports field and PMO in interpretation of technical data to resolve deficiencies and develops and implements plans to execute these requirements.
Coordinates with sites, sub-contracts vendors, and OEM to ensure that tasks are completed as scheduled.
Must be able to communicate effectively with government customers, managers, site supervisors, and technicians in the field
Interacts collaboratively with all PMO functional areas: Contracts, Subcontracts, Fleet Management, Finance, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain Management. This may include communications ranging from daily verbal and email communication, in addition to the development of written processes and procedures.

Knowledge & Skills
In-depth knowledge of aircraft technical orders/job guides/publications.
Ability to read, interpret, follow and comprehend schematic diagrams, drawings, charts and technical publications.
Ability to communicate with internal and external customers with tact and professionalism.
Must have an in-depth knowledge (aircraft/vehicle movement and safety/hazards) of flight line operations.
MS Office experience required (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline. Two (2) years experience in related field may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college.
Minimum ten (10) or more years progressively responsible experience.
Currently possess a FAA Airframe and Power Plant Certificate, and FCC License with Radar Endorsement
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
Ability to work under pressure and continuously meet deadlines.
Ability to lift heavy objects.
