Contingent upon contract award
Maintain Beechcraft King Air 350 aircraft in support of ISR missions.
Performs inspections, accomplishes refurbishment and phase maintenance.
Prepares and maintains aircraft maintenance records and historical documents.
Must have an in-depth understanding of aircraft technical publications, to include maintenance manuals, wire diagram manuals, IPC, SIRM, and other IML related documents.
Must have a strong working knowledge to input and extract data from the maintenance database program (PARS/ARMS).
Reviews and utilizes maintenance data collection reports.
Monitors and reviews deficiency reports for adverse trends.
Use applicable technical manuals when performing aircraft maintenance.
Annotate equipment/tools inspection and condition documents.
Comply with established policies, procedures and standards.
Assist other maintenance/specialists as required.
Comply with all safety, bioenvironmental, security and housekeeping standards.
Comply with training requirements.
Operates vehicles, both special purpose and regular as required.
Assists assigned personnel in researching and requisitioning aircraft parts and components and in determining the reparability and serviceability of these assets.
Provide guidance and instruction to employees concerning technical orders, checklists, and hazardous materials.
Actively participates in the Safety Program.
Complete maintenance documentation using required forms.
Launches and recovers aircraft, to include tie-down, cover, plug and pin removal and installation, marshalling, and assists on pilot preflight.
Performs aircraft preflight, thru-flight, basic post-flight and periodic/phase inspections.
Operate GSE, flight line vehicles and other support equipment as required.
Performs Aircrew debrief function, and uses his/her extensive experience on assigned aircraft to assess, describe, and record aircraft discrepancies.
Discuss discrepancies with aircrews to secure adequate troubleshooting information.
Maintain strict compliance with company and government Communications Security (COMSEC) policies and procedures.
Performs other job related duties as may be assigned.
Must be able to work day shift, night shift or weekend duty and travel as part of a maintenance recovery team as required. CONUS and OCONUS deployment may be required.
If scheduled to deploy OCONUS must be in good physical condition, able to pass a required physical exam and CRC course for SWA, AFRICOM, and CENTCOM.
Must be able to work in the established work/living environment, work a schedule of 7 days, 12 hour shifts as assigned to support mission requirements.
A Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline and a minimum of 2 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
The qualified applicant must have a minimum of three (3) years aircraft mechanic level experience.
Current FAA A&P certificate required. Current FAA IA preferred.
Required King Air B300, C-12, B200, or 1900 experience on civilian and military platforms including Pratt & Whitney PT6 turboprop experience
Must be able to obtain and maintain an FAA medical clearance as required by 8210 to perform ferry duties as flight crew member.
Experience in the use of hand and special tools, and testers for aircraft maintenance is required.
Must have experience with Microsoft Office suite.
Must have good communicative skills and be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must have a current civilian driver's license, and be able to obtain and maintain a government flight line driver's license.
Must be able to obtain and maintain an interim DOD secret government security clearance as a minimum prior to hire.
