Lockheed Martin Aircrew Training Devices Instr (CSO) in Hurlburt Field, Florida

Responsibilities for AC-130J CSO/WSO Instructor: Provide AC-130J CSO and WSO instruction to military aircrew in systems, operations, and procedures in the classroom, and flight simulator. Assist instructional systems designs as subject matter expert in development of classroom, simulator, and aircraft lessons, student and instructor guides, and other training media as required. Fly at least annually as observer on AC-130J aircraft to observe current aircrew procedures and techniques. Support engineering and maintenance functions during test and evaluation of training devices. Reports to Weapon System Lead regarding accomplishments of assigned duties and responsibilities. Other duties as assigned. Comply with all Lockheed Martin policy and procedures.

Basic Qualifications Previous AC-130J CSO/WSO or AC-130W CSO/NAV experience Previous Special Operations Instructor in the AC-130J/W/U or H. Qualified as a C-130J (Any variant of J) Navigator or an AC-130J CSO. Bachelor’s Degree or Higher from an accredited school/college. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Current in U.S. military aircraft within the previous 4 years Previous aircrew experience in military fixed-wing/rotary wing aircraft with a minimum of 800 flight hours in the AC-130 (any variant). Minimum of 200 flight instructor hours. Working knowledge of AF-level and major Command regulations to include but limited to: AFTTP and all appropriate, current AFSOC Regulations. Understand, speak, read, and write English.

Desired skills Previous experience in other AFSOC or similar aircraft 200 hours of total flight instructor time 1500 hours of total flight time Recent experience as AC-130J crew member C-130J navigator experience Combat/deployment experience as AFSOC crewmember on any variant of AC-130 aircraft
