Responsibilities:

The Logistic Specialist will assist the OEM team with shipping, receiving, and general warehousing. The successful candidate will make sure shelves are stocked, orders are tracked, and invoices are filled. The successful candidate is responsible for shipping and receiving incoming parts and outgoing finished products.

  • Receive and serialize incoming engine inventory

  • Call trucking companies to arrange freight pick-up, create BOL's and custom paperwork

  • Ship and control inventory of finished products

  • Ensure inventory and finished products are stored and handled appropriately

  • Prepare monthly folders for all incoming and outgoing parts/products

  • Ensure pick lists for parcel shipments are accurately pulled and processed

  • Maintain inventory of shipping supplies

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Experienced in shipping and receiving materials

  • Able to work with minimal time missed

  • Strong collaborative skills

  • Able to work independently as required

  • Excellent time management and decision making skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively

  • Well organized and detail oriented

  • Work well in a fast paced environment

  • Motivated and eager to succeed

  • At least two (2) years of supply chain, or logistics work experience

  • Previous experience with and knowledge of diesel engines and their components

  • Excellent computer skills and experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Power Point)

  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize Cummins computer based software tools such as BMS
