Position Description

Responsible for strategy design, development, evaluation, implementation, and overall management of large, complex, Benefit Programs (may include Wellness, Health & Welfare, Retiree Health, Disability and Absence Management plans and programs). Reports to the Director, Health and Benefits Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designinnovative, integrated programs that align with the Company’s strategy for deliveringWellness, Health & Welfare, Retiree Health, Disability and AbsenceManagement programs.

  • Responsiblefor plan design, development, implementation and change management. Lead cross-functional teams (internal andexternal) to achieve stated outcomes.

  • Managecomplex benefit programs and partner with internal (cross-functional) andexternal parties (plan vendors) to provide “easy to understand” and integrated solutions.

  • Manageand review program metrics and ROI results. Make plan and strategyrecommendations based on results.

  • Subjectmatter expert in the formation of benefit policies and partner with the HROperations Team on escalated member issues and appeals resolution.Specifically, manage leave and time-off policies, including parental leave,PTO, and holidays.

  • Servesas subject matter expert in partnership with internal communications to developbenefit communications, outreach and training materials.

  • Partnerwith HR Shared Services team to ensure effective execution and delivery ofcommunications to employees.

  • Partnerwith HR partners to identify the impact of business decisions on BenefitPrograms.

  • Partnerwith Director of Strategy and Benefits team on long and short term Wellness, Health& Welfare, Retiree Health, Disability and Absence Management strategyrecommendations.

  • Ensurecompany compliance with privacy, local, state, and federal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum five years project management/implementation management experience.

    Critical Skills

  • Minimumeight to ten experience managing plan vendors and /or 3 rd partyadministrators.

  • Minimumfive years project management/implementation management experience.

  • Minimumfive years experience in benefit program strategy and design of complex,multifaceted employee Wellness, Health & Welfare, Retiree Health. Disability and Absence Management programs.

  • Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills and ability to motivate and inspiregroups of people.

  • Subjectmatter expert in employee benefit operations.
