Cook / Chef Work Schedule: PT Evenings

Engages in storage, preparation and serving of quality food to patients and customers. Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of assigned food service and storage areas. Performs assigned tasks as necessary to assure the safe and efficient operation of the Nutrition Services Department.

  • High School or GED
  • Knowledge of state, federal, JCAHO regulations
  • Knowledge of specialty equipment, tools: cash register, computer, adding machine, calculator
  • 2-3 years experience in food service operations, preferably in a hospital or restaurant setting
