Current Need

This position will be part of a team responsible for managing Strategic Pricing initiatives including maintaining McKesson Pharma Retail and MHS pricing model, supporting the development and implementation of pricing scenarios, reporting and analytics focused on customer pricing, and supporting the Home Office Pricing team. This position will require interaction with external customers, sales, IT, field distribution centers, customer support, finance, and back office operations.

Position Description

  • Identify process improvement and profitopportunities through rigorous analysis of very large data pools

  • Partner with Home Office Pricing to supportperformance analysis and business model development

  • Contribute to the development of Pricing Modeldocumentation and training materials

  • Partner with Home Office Pricing and IT toselect new platform for pricing model

  • Ensure data accuracy, relevance, and consistencyby validating feeds from transactional systems into standardized analyticsplatform

  • Partner with IT to ensure appropriatearchitecture, support, capacity, content, and access to the Strategic Pricingfunctionality including differential pricing application

  • Manage initiatives to transform SAP pricing toalign with Pharma strategy

  • Knowledge sharing and training of internalbusiness partners on pricing and pricing initiatives

  • Manage Strategic Pricing staff

  • Other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Requirements

10 years accounting, finance, finance analytics or similar experience

Critical Skills

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Prior experience using anERP system. SAP is highly preferred

  • Must have pricingoperational knowledge and experience using a pricing system such as Vistex

  • Ability to pull andanalyze large amounts of data using SQL, Access, BW, or BO

  • Advance level MS OfficeExcel and PowerPoint

  • Strong financial acumen

  • Prior experience managingmultiple projects

  • 3 years directmanagement experience

  • Verbal and writtencommunication skills

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Pharma experience is a plus

  • Systemenhancement and implementation experience


MBA preferred in finance or related field or equivalent experience
